Kids Club

Policies & Procedures

• We accept children 6 months – 12 years
• Only children of members are entitled to use the club
• All children visiting the Kids Club are required to be signed in and out
• Maximum stay in the Kids Club is 2 hours
• For the safety and health of our children we cannot allow children who are ill to be left in the Kids Club.  The staff has the right to refuse any child who displays any signs of illness such as cough, runny nose, fever, pink eye, etc.
• Diaper changing is the responsibility of the parent.  If a child needs to be changed or needs help in the restroom their parent will be paged
• Any child that has special needs (i.e. autism) should be accompanied by an attendant.  This is for the safety of all the children in the club and to ensure that they get the attention they need
• No food is allowed in the Kids Club
• Spill proof bottles and cups are acceptable
• All jackets and bottles must be labeled with the child’s name, the MAC is not responsible for lost or stolen items
• To ensure safety as well as fun, please have your child understand that they are to follow the instructions of the staff
• If parents are notified of a behavior problem and the behavior is not corrected, the management may suspend Kids Club privileges to protect the safety of the other children
• Parents will be paged if their child is upset or misbehaving for more than 10 minutes after all efforts to soothe the child have failed
• The Kids Club staff will engage the children in regular activities such as arts and crafts, music, reading and help with homework.  Check the Kids Club calendar for special monthly events
• In times of inclement weather if the Kingston City School District is closed then AM and PM childcare will be closed
